We've been blown away by the response to Knostic AgentMesh since we opened it up to the community. The validation of watching security researchers, developers, and enterprise teams explore what's possible when AI agents can reason about least-privilege is exactly what keeps us going.
Today, we're sharing something we've been working on carefully: our access tiers. This is a big step for us, and we want to be upfront about what's changing, why, and what it means for you.
Starting soon, AgentMesh will move from open-access to a freemium model. Here's how it works:
Anonymous Access (Free, no login required): If you're just kicking the tires, you can still explore AgentMesh without creating an account. You'll have access to a fixed set of 100 per category on our Web UI with no sign-up needed. It's a great way to see what AgentMesh can do before committing to anything.
Signed-In (Free): Create a free account and you unlock 300 items per category, plus ability to trial our API access to start building and evaluating integrations (capped at 20 per month, 1 per day). This tier is built for curious engineers and security researchers who want to go deeper without pulling out a credit card.
Premium ($15/user/month): For individual practitioners, consultants, or developers building on top of AgentMesh, this tier will grant you full catalog access, 300 API calls per month (capped at 20 per day), and a Kirin license to also secure agents at the endpoint. At $15/month, we've deliberately priced this to be a no-brainer for anyone who finds value in the product. To activate your Kirin license, please reach out to sales@knostic.ai.
Pro ($850/user/month): For power users and teams who need access without constraints, this tier will grant you both unlimited API access to AgentMesh and include a Kirin IDE license. If you're running automated pipelines, integrating AgentMesh into production workflows, or building commercial products on top of our platform, Pro removes all the guardrails so you can move at full speed. To activate your Kirin license as well, please reach out to sales@knostic.ai.
Enterprise — Custom Pricing: Organizations looking to deploy AgentMesh for 10 or more users get a custom contract with dedicated support from our sales team. Contact us to talk through what that looks like for your organization.
Knostic was founded on a simple belief: AI agents need to operate with the right knowledge at the right time — not too much, not too little. AgentMesh is the infrastructure that makes that possible. We've proven the concept, built a community, and now we need to build a sustainable foundation to keep improving it.
Monetization isn't just about revenue. It lets us invest in the reliability, security, and new capabilities that you've been asking for. It lets us hire the people who will make AgentMesh better. And it lets us keep the free tier genuinely useful — not a watered-down teaser, but a real on-ramp for anyone in the security community.
We've seen the early community that's formed around AgentMesh — researchers, practitioners, and builders from organizations across the security world. That community is why we're here.
For everyone currently using AgentMesh, we'll be reaching out directly with more details on the transition timeline and what it means for your access. Our goal is to make this as smooth as possible, with plenty of notice and no surprises.
If you're on the free tier today and actively building something meaningful, we want to hear from you. We have options for researchers, open-source contributors, and early community members - just reach out.
This is just the beginning. The access tier launch is one piece of a larger roadmap we're excited to share more about in the coming months. New capabilities are coming. The AgentMesh ecosystem is growing. The core problem we set out to solve is more relevant than ever.
We're grateful for everyone who's been part of this journey so far. If you have questions, feedback, or just want to tell us what you think, reach out at team@knostic.ai or find us on LinkedIn.
Here's to what we build next.
